So I'm pretty excited. I get to pick up my car tomorrow. So enthralled that I decided to make a brand new CD for the car, just as something nice and long to listen to during trips, offering a variety of types of music that I haven't already overplayed. Everything from Richard Cheese to Black Label Society. Thankfully, my car can support mp3 CD's. A huge bonus for long trips.

I would have liked to make a list of the music here but my CD burner is going nutso. I'll see if i can add it in later.

Okay - so as most of you know (if you've been reading my posts) my car died a few weeks ago. Im terribly reliant on a vehicle and can't function as a member of society without one. I finally secured a deal after hopping back and forth between dealerships and new/used vehicles.. I've finally made a purchase.

The image doesnt do it justice, and I couldnt get a good image of the side because of all the other cars parked beside it. I'll be able to take it off the lot on Thursday as long as all financing issues go without any major hitch.

No luck on my car. It's officially dead.

Theres no compression in my motor, looked like it was the motor hood/housing.

Hey everybody! Round 2 for the MLG Canada Host has started go vote for me!

Unfortunately the best part wasn't in it. There was a street performer playing guitar so I figure "Hot damn, get that guy to play some video game music if he can and it'll be solid." (he was pretty good anyway). So I go up to him, ask for a moment of his time, give him the whole story. I'm with mlg trying for the host position, play some video game music for me (abridged for ease but you get the idea). He asks how much I'll pay him, I saw I've got like a buck (I wasn't really expecting that) He says no, he payed $1000 bucks for his gear and to record his cd, he won't play for free etc. Then he says with this odd sincerity "Want to know what I really think?" I figure he's going to drop something like video games suck, so it might be good video fodder. I say what? and point the mic at him. He just goes off the handle swearing at me. "Get the fuck out of my face you piece of shit. Fuck you! I'm tired of being fucking exploited". He's still swearing but we start to walk away "Fuck you, suck my dick." So I lean to camera and say "Is that really the worst he can think to say to me? Suck his dick? What's wrong with his dick?" I zinged him the way only the internet would, *not* to his face.

I was told they were going to try and use it and blur his face but unfortunately the cameraman wasn't recording most of the conversation because it was just the build up for the actual scene, it wasn't until it started to get interesting that he started focusing on the action. Though I was told I'd be able to get the uncensored version (his face still blurred, just no swears bleeped out) so I'll see what I can do about supplying that to you guys.

In summation, go vote for me! <3. Come rhyme with me? I'm filled glee, oh look a bee!

Heres the plot.

Give them advice, REAL advice, not the regular crap you get from people who really aren't thinking about your problem.

Wait until they say thanks and go on their way.. Then watch them throw it away and ruin their lives.

At first I was a little mad, but now it has become almost humorous. I'm not laughing at their misfortune, I'm laughing at their disregard for common sense.

I know I'm their friend, but for the sake of the human race I hope they are sterile.


note: I agree with people making up their own mind, I think its great. When I give advice it isnt always going to be what people want to hear. I'm not expecting them to listen, though I do wish they would at least think about what I said. But when they throw caution to the wind and do something so stupid (like sitcom stupid) - it makes me wonder why I even try :P


Season 2 has started. What will happen in their future? Bankruptcy, Heartbreak, Vandalism.. stay tuned!

Ahhh procrastination, if it was a course I'd have my Masters degree.

I just came back from Winnipeg, after working a long boring shift at work i drove up to 'Winnipeg'. Otherwise known as the city with streets worse than a hillbilly hunting trail... I went on a lil journey with Jordan and Courtney, trying to find out where I had to go the next day for my satellite training - then mcdonalds.

I turned right after leaving McDonalds, aparrently it was a one way street - and I was driving the wrong direction.

The certification course was long - I nearly fell asleep a few times trying to take notes. Aparently I passed with a 70 - So i can install Ka band satellites (which really is only ExplorNet around these parts) But during install times when I'm on a job I get +6 more dollars per hour over what I normally make, which is decent. I did learn a lot, and its information I can actually apply to.. stuff.

On another note, I feel the need to write, to people. Its easier than talking, considering I'm developing some abnormal speech patterns, and overusing key words in my sentences, not really by mistake but more of by habit.

So, in the wake of Jer, I want to do some 'daily' emails to anyone who requests one - I'll probably try to keep up for at least a week or two, maybe longer depending on what I have to say ;) So please, if you wan't something to read from someone who has a lot of things to say about anything - just drop a reply.

Hi, aloof_altruist was formally known as _krotch_. I've decided that after a few years the name has run its course and I'm awefully awfully sick of people asking what it means. So as a 'means' to an end I'm phasing it out of my memory and history.
